Roadkill

Died alone at the roadside, between trash and dust, simply left behind. He had been lying there for quite some time, abandoned and alone. I’ll spare you the sight of his face.

Sadly, this is a reality we too often face: time and again, especially in Cyprus, I come across dogs hit by cars along the roads.  And even here in Germany, countless animals are injured or killed every day – yet so few stop to help.

We cannot prevent everything, but we can pay attention, be alert, and help where we can. A single moment of care can make the difference between life and death.
