When Noah’s Ark needed an Ark

When a big storm hit Cyprus mid October this year torrential rain was flooding the dog shelter Noah’s Ark and the dogs living there were in great danger of drowning. They needed to be evacuated, so immediately the Argos Animal Santuary offered help and opened its doors to provide shelter. Which is where they still are, waiting for a loving and forever home.

When I visited the Argos in the end of November, I met Sotiroulla from Noah’s Ark. She introduced me to every dog, told me their stories. All have been exposed to ignorance and sometimes heavy violence inflicted by humans. But all of them are still so gentle and friendly, just looking for the respect and love they deserve.
